“Chairs” in the Lionrock---Students Majoring in Tourism English Protect Classmates in the Storm

  （This is TES news, via Publicity Department of TES, Tourism English Studio） On October 8, the first day of military training, Haikou has already had a precursor of typhoon. Heavy rain has affected our training. Those freshmen who come from the northern region suffered from such extreme weather for the first time.
    On the way back to the dormitory after the military training, Huang Yilin, Shihao and Jin Xinlong, Freshmen majoring in Tourism English,  found that there was a lot of water around the teaching building.   They used their stools to build a “bridge” in the water so that others could pass by safely. Meanwhile, they stood around to protect others from slipping. Huang Yilin's shoes and socks were wet by the heavy rain. However, he didn’t leave. Instead, he stood barefoot in the water with other boys. Chen Wenjie , the class assistant, has been with them in the storm.
    It reflects the valuable moral of college students. We are as  enthusiastic and warm-hearted as they are, and as courtesy as passersby as they are. We believe their behavior shows us how to be qualified college students. With the spirit, our college will become more and more vigorous in the future!
