Beautiful Hometown (III) ——Delicious Food

    At the beginning of the new semester, the students of Tourism English class I shared the delicious food and famous tourist attractions of their hometown. They come from all over the country. Let's follow their lens to taste, visit, and enjoy the charm of English together.

    Liu Lili shared with us a characteristic Anhui snack -Guozi. It is a flour-based snack with many shapes, two of which are shown in the following picture. In Anhui, Guozi can be used as gifts on many occasions, such as at weddings, visiting relatives during the Spring Festival etc. Try this snack as your next gift.


   

    Xue Guowei introduced a special snack in Wenzhou called Wenzhou Fried Sticky Rice with Rock Sugar. It is made of rock sugar, sticky rice，peanut and osmanthus .It tastes crispy, sweet and scented with osmanthus flowers. During the Spring Festival，people always serve it as snacks for guests.


   

    Ling Yujie tasted the steamed rice cake, a characteristic food of Jiujiang , which is shaped like dumplings. The dough is rolled out into a circle and usually filled with beans, pickled cabbage and radish. And then the dough is wrapped around the edges and steamed in a steamer. Finally, you can choose whether to put the pepper or not according to the your personal taste. Everyone must have eaten dumplings before.
